I am currently a senior at UGA and will be graduating in May. In August 2008, I will begin medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. I am aspiring to become a surgeon. Most of my spare time is spent working with dogs, fishing, and quail hunting near my Dad's hometown of Butler, GA. I guess it is part of my "bucket list" to fish all of the world's fishing hot spots. If I was not going to medical school, I could see myself as a sports writer or a writer for an outdoor magazine. My thoughts often drift towards conservation issues including habitat destruction and wetland preservation. My focus is on restoration of the Southern Bobwhite Quail. It is an intense desire of mine to perserve the American outdoors for my children and generations to come. These thoughts led to my joining of this class and this project.
